Theory: A school building should create a relaxing and pleasant space for learning and communication implying studying is a joyful and calm process. All the measures, such as openess, flow, exterior ladnscape, serve for this.

The wall can pivot around a roller and become an open platform for relaxing. The view is quite broad , facing the courtyard below.

This roof below showing space is a three-piece constuction. It is supposed to bring the natural light into the exhibition to sometimes neutralize the unreal sense created by dense and strong artificial light . Generally, the exhibits are highlighted by artificial light for good render. I think that make sense. So to avoid the influence to exhibits my openness is above the central gathering space, it is quite like an open yard.

This picture( sorry no gif) shows the cable car between workshop and gallery. It is convenient to transport some-large scale model from workshop to the galllery.
My school-bridge building:
(first I have to say sorry for no lumion stuff because some computer parts are out of stock.)
brief: This building connects squarehouse to the law school, and most part of it is over the roof of roundhouse.
1:To fit the terrain, the whole building has a subtle difference on the level. You can't rigorously tell which is floor 1or 2, because the building lays on the cone roof. There are some tips that I used, like I use quite a lot of outside ramps and stairs(ramps are more because they are gentle) to connect entrances on different level.

Also, the height difference of lecture hall is spantaneous because it takes advantage of the cone roof.
2Also inspired by this special terrain which is up and down, my building is going to be flowing. Flowing does not just refers to the appearnce like roof, it also means your experience, the route you pass this building. I think the fluid style really suits this project. Firstly, flowing is related to dynamic, thus helpful to create dynamic and lively space. Flowing is related to water, to peace, thus helpful to relieve your pressure, and negative feelings towards study.

for example, you cant directly get into the building, there is a corner and a lawn between the entrance and squarehouse. I think such route is suitable for your mood before learning, it is a relax, a relief.
Secondly, this school is also called a bridge. Normally, people go in and out of a building via one entrance, but bridge is different. It has and more main entrance. So, my inspiration is to create some intersting routes or even loops in this project.

For example, I create an interesting loop in this L shape studio. Such interesting measure and the openness and circulation it brings is benefial to keep positive and to better communicating.

There are three large lawns, I want to make them easily accessible, visible. Now that wandering onto the roof, why not come to the cafe for a seat and some enjoyment?

If not that time-free, there is also a counter selling drinks and snacks in the studio.
